I'm Anurag Bhattarai, a student from Taudaha, Kathmandu, pursuing a path toward becoming a Machine Learning Engineer. My journey started with curiosity about AI and large language models—I wanted to know not just what they do, but how they work.
Currently, I'm deepening my expertise through Intellipaat's AI & Machine Learning certification, where I'm mastering the fundamental concepts and practical applications of artificial intelligence. This structured learning path is helping me build a solid foundation in ML algorithms, neural networks, and data science workflows.
I'm focused on core Python tooling for data work—Pandas for data manipulation, NumPy for numeric operations, and Matplotlib/Seaborn for visualization. I enjoy transforming raw data into clear insights and building models that solve real-world problems.
My strengths lie in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a learn-by-doing approach. I favor quick experiments and iteration to find practical solutions, which helps me learn faster and adapt to new tools and frameworks without getting stuck in over-preparation.

A machine learning-powered financial assessment tool that predicts loan default risk in real-time. Analyzes 20+ financial behaviors including income, debt-to-income ratio, and payment history to classify applicants into Good, Standard, or Poor risk categories.
Features a hybrid decision logic with hard-rule override layer—if an applicant has payment delay > 90 days, the system automatically flags them as "High Risk" regardless of model output, preventing costly false positives.
